Today, the idea of reviewing all of these books just makes me tired, especially because most of them were just good, not great. So I'm just reviewing the ones I really liked.
111. The Summer I Turned Pretty, by Jenny Han. Finished October 26. 2 hours, 276 p.
112. What I Saw and How I Lied, by Judy Blundell. Finished October 27. 2 hours, 284 p.
113. Pretties, by Scott Westerfeld. Finished October 27. 3 hours, 370 p.
114. Specials, by Scott Westerfeld. Finished October 29. 2 days, 372 p.
115. Such a Pretty Fat: One Narcissist's Quest to Discover If Her Life Makes Her Ass Look Big, or Why Pie Is Not the Answer, by Jen Lancaster. Finished November 1. 2 days, 379 p.
116. Juliet, Naked, by Nick Hornby. Finished November 5. 1 day, 406 p.
I love Nick Hornby. His obsession with music and music lovers is fascinating to me. Great novel, highly recommended.
117. Holy Places, by Chad S. Hawkins. Finished November 8. 2 hours, 198 pages.
To prepare for a talk on temples.
118. The Terrorist, by Caroline B. Cooney. Finished November 8. 2 hours, 198 pages.
Interesting to see a look at terrorism before 9/11 happened. YA novel.
119. Princess Ben, by Catherine Gilbert Murdock. Finished November 8. 3 hours, 344 p.
120. The Blind Assassin, by Margaret Atwood. Finished November 10. 5 days, 521 pages.
121. Looks, by Madeleine George. Finished November 11. 2 days, 240 pages.
122. Playing with Matches, by Brian Katcher. Finished November 11. 3 hours, 294 pages.
123. Shift, by Jennifer Bradbury. Finished November 12. 3 hours, 245 pages.
124. No Simple Victory: World War II in Europe, 1939-1945, by Norman Davies. Finished November 22. 10 days, 490 pages.
An interesting look at WWII in Europe with more focus on Eastern Europe than most history books designed for a Western audience. I like reading non-fiction, but I read it so slowly that I have a hard time reading as much of it as I'd like, especially when I have a growing stack of library books that I also want to read.
125. How to Ditch Your Fairy, by Justine Larbalestier. (Will be) Finished November 23. 1 day, 307 p.
